REV. ALICIA R. HUDNALL

Rev. Alicia R. Hudnall

Alicia Rachelle Hudnall also known as Lisa was born in Silver Spring Maryland to the late and great Frances A. Black. She grew up in the AME church and has held membership and served in various capacities at Bethel A.M.E. in Reidsville, North Carolina and First AME in Manassas, Virginia.

In 1996 she married and committed to spend the rest of her life loving Rev. Aaron A. Hudnall, Jr. She is the proud mother of three wonderful young adults, Naomi, Aaron III, and Faith.

Rev. Alicia accepted the call into ministry in October 2001, and enrolled full time at Morgan State University in January of 2002. She graduated from Morgan in December of 2005 with a Bachelors of Science degree in Business Administration. In April of 2009 she was ordained an Itinerant Deacon, and in April of 2011 she was ordained an Itinerant Elder in the 61st Session of Washington Annual Conference in the Second Episcopal District, by Bishop Adam J. Richardson Jr.

She serves as an associate minister at Falls Road A.M.E. located in Baltimore Maryland under the leadership of her Pastor; Rev. Raymond F. Edmonds, Jr. and First Lady, Rev. Jerri Edmonds. There she serves as Director of Youth Ministry, a Class Leader to girls, Youth Bible Study and Church School teacher and she also instructs the Baptism class. She is the Ministerial Staff liaison to the Health Ministry, and the Helps Ministries (which consist of the Pastor’s Aid, Hospitality Committee, and the Usher Board). She supports various other ministries and endeavors in different capacities.

She also serves on the Ministerial Staff of Cowdensville A.M.E. where Rev. Brenda McClain is the Pastor. There she teaches Bible Study and VBS. She provides ministerial support in any other area as needed.

Rev. Alicia is constantly amazed and grateful for the love, mercy and grace the God has showered her family with over the years. Philippians 1:6 which states, “He who has begun a good work in you shall perform it until the day of Jesus Christ”, reminds her that God is not finished with her yet!
